St. Paul's Girls' College was founded by the Sheng Kung Hui

Dr Catherine Woo was appointed as the Principal
1918
The first school in Hong Kong to require students to wear school uniform

School moved to the present site at 33 MacDonnell Road

School badge design was adopted

1945
- School resumed operations, and St. Paul's Boys' College moved in. School accepted both boys and girls to become the first co-educational college in Hong Kong
- The whole-day Primary School was established and Mr Maak Ying Kei was appointed as the Headteacher

School remained co-educational when St. Paul's Boys' College moved to Bonham Road
1952
Dr Woo retired and Ms B M Kotewall became the Principal
1953
Primary School moved to 1 Calder Path
1957
- The whole-day Primary School changed to AM & PM Schools
- Ms Fok Lan Hing was appointed as the Headteacher of PM Primary School
1959
New west wing of the Secondary School completed

Mr Maak Ying Kei retired and Ms Lee Quay Ying became the Headteacher of the AM Primary School
1966
Ms Fok Lan Hing retired and Ms Chan Kwok Ying became the Headteacher of the PM Primary School
1967
Ms Lee Quay Ying resigned and Ms Lui Shui Ying became the Headteacher of the AM Primary School

New Primary School building at 33 MacDonnell Road completed

Choir and orchestra were invited to tour and perform in Thailand

Dr Kotewall retired and Mrs Chen Lam Ngar Sheung became the Principal
1985
The Secondary School new annex and the indoor swimming pool at 1 Calder Path completed

- Ms Lui Shui Ying retired and Mrs Chan Tang Fung Ming became the Headteacher of AM Primary School
- Ms Chan Kwok Ying was appointed as the Headteacher (Coordinator) of both AM and PM Primary Schools
1992
Choir participated in the International Music Festival in Sydney, Australia and won the highest Gold Award
1993
The first Hong Kong school to make Liberal Studies a compulsory sixth-form subject
1996
- Ms Chan Kwok Ying retired and Mrs Chan Tang Fung Ming became the Headteacher (Coordinator) of both AM and PM Primary Schools, and also the Headteacher of PM Primary School
- Ms Wu Shuk Yin became the Headteacher of AM Primary School
1999
- Mrs Chen Lam Ngar Sheung retired and Mr Poon Chun Kau became the Principal
- Mrs Chan Tang Fung Ming retired
- AM & PM Primary Schools became two whole-day Primary Schools, and changed to St. Paul's Co-educational (MacDonnell Road) Primary School with Ms Wu Shuk Yin as the Headmistress, and St. Paul's Co-educational (Kennedy Road) Primary School with Ms Lee Tuen Yee as the Headmistress

Joined the Direct Subsidy Scheme (DSS) and admitted first batch of DSS students in P1 & S1
2003
Successful application for government funding for the development of the Secondary School new annex under the School Improvement Programme
2004
Mr Poon Chun Kau retired and Dr Anissa Chan became the Principal
2006
- The two whole-day primary schools were merged and renamed as St. Paul's Co-educational College Primary School with Ms Lee Tuen Yee as the Headmistress
- Secondary School new annex under the School Improvement Programme completed
- Hosted first international student conference with HKU as co-organiser; international conferences are held annually in the summer since then
2008
- Beginning of Secondary School's 5-year redevelopment project
- The Primary School moved to the new campus in Wong Chuk Hang
- The Kennedy Road campus was given to the Secondary School for temporary use
- Participated in the 5th World Choir Games, Graz, Austria; remains a keen participant since then in the choir festival that takes place every two years on different continents

- New extension block of Secondary School, Li Chong Yuet Ming Building and Chong Yau Pak Wan Residence Hall, completed
- Ms Lee Tuen Yee retired and Ms Leung Lai Mei became the Headmistress of Primary School

- Participated in the 10th Venezia in Musica, Venice, Italy
- Started admitting students from overseas

- Completion of Secondary School's 5-year redevelopment project
- The ßÙßÇÂþ» Student Profile with nine desirable attributes was introduced

Dr Anissa Chan retired and Mr Poon Siu Chi became the Principal
2018
Treble Choir participated in the 14th Busan Choral Festival and Competition in Korea and won the highest Grand Prize
2019
The Chong Yau Pak Wan Residence Hall was renovated to allow local students for long-term boarding

Ms Leung Lai Mei retired and Ms Cheung Wai Shun became the Headmistress of Primary School
